The analytical control of the presence of pesticides and its metabolites in environmental samples, such as water and soils, is a main concern nowadays. Degradation of pesticides must be evaluated in multiple soil types and water conditions at multiple concentration levels. All this process needs then the help of automation software for compounds detection but also to detect and elucidate derivatives that are produces from the first structure under the cultivation conditions. For that purpose, liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry method is used but also software is needed to do an identification of new metabolites.
