We are glad to announce that we recently released LipostarMSI 2.2.0
Overview:
The new LipostarMSI release (v2.2.0) introduces support for the updated lipid nomenclature adopted by LIPID MAPS LMSD. Lipid names without brackets (e.g., PC 16:0/18:0) are now fully supported, while the previous, now obsolete nomenclature remains compatible to ensure continuity with existing datasets. The Lipid Builder tool has also been enhanced, allowing users to select the preferred naming policy when generating custom lipids within the tool. Fragmentation rules have been revised to accommodate both naming formats. In addition, this version adds imaging, quantification, and ROI analysis support for Waters MRM data.
