We are glad to announce that we recently released MARS 1.1.0

Overview:

The new MARS release (v1.1.0) supports a ready-to-use METLIN 960K database (available for purchase) that allows you to enhance metabolite search throughput and accuracy in your experimental data, assuring reliable identification based on experimentally acquired MS/MS data generated from 960k authentic molecular standards. Since MARS supports data from multiple major vendors, METLIN 960K database can be used in MARS to perform metabolite identification regardless input data format.

This release also includes general enhancements for Stable Isotope Labeling (SIL) analysis. Specifically, the DB Manager now features an “Isotope Editor” tool, which allows users to label metabolite structures in the database with heavy isotopes of any element. In addition, it introduces enhanced statistical plots along with improvements to metabolic pathway analysis and overall usability.

Specifically for Waters data, this release also supports SONAR files processing and inclusion list generation in Waters format.

Recommendation level: Required – Major update: install as soon as possible.
